Brief Report of the Planning and Policy Directorate of the Supreme Court for the Second Quarter of 1447 AH

During the second quarter of 1447 AH, the Planning and Policy Directorate of the Supreme Court carried out the following important activities:
1. During the second quarter, based on monthly and quarterly reports, the Planning and Policy Directorate collected reports from the central directorates of the Supreme Court as well as from the Appellate Courts, Urban Primary Courts, and District Primary Courts of all 34 provinces. After consolidation, the reports were forwarded to the relevant authorities for further action. In addition, special reports regarding women’s inheritance and property rights were collected within the specified timeframes and submitted to the Ministry for the Amr Bil Maruf and Nahi Anil Munkar, and Hearing of Complaints, the Administrative Affairs Office, the Office of the Honorable High Authority of the Supreme Court, and the Administrative Deputyship for subsequent action.
2. During the second quarter, the Directorate collected the quarterly attendance reports (Mizan, Aqrab, and Qaws) of the Appellate Courts of all 34 provinces and, after consolidation, submitted them to the relevant authorities for further action.
3. During the second quarter, the Directorate collected reports on (65) decrees issued by the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (حفظه الله) and the Honorable Office of the Prime Minister. After arrangement and consolidation, these reports were shared with the relevant authorities for further implementation.
4. During the second quarter, the Directorate prepared the Judicial Implementation Report—corresponding to the third quarter of the year 1404—covering the activities of (10) Tamiz Divisions, Appellate Courts, Urban Primary Courts, District Primary Courts across 34 provinces, and the Directorates of Huqooq (Rights). The report was organized in separate tables and submitted to the relevant Deputyships and Directorates of the Supreme Court, as well as to the Honorable Administrative Affairs Office, for final action.
5. During the second quarter, in line with the administrative hierarchy and upon the request of the Ministry of Economy, the Directorate prepared reports on the progress, challenges, and obstacles of the Supreme Court’s development projects for the first, second, and third quarters of fiscal year 1404 and submitted them to the Ministry.
6. During the second quarter, the Directorate continuously monitored the project for the construction of twenty (20) residential housing units for judges at the designated site, and progress reports were submitted to the relevant authorities in a timely manner. Furthermore, following the cancellation of the previous contract for the project, the accountability process as well as laboratory testing and monitoring of construction materials were carried out.
7. During the second quarter, the Directorate continuously monitored the reconstruction project of the semi-completed two-flat madrasa and septic well under the Directorate of Security and Executive Affairs of the Supreme Court, as well as the construction project of a mosque canopy and a generator for the Kabul Urban Primary Court, and submitted progress reports to the relevant officials in a timely manner.
8. During the second quarter, the Directorate monitored the construction project of a two-story building and basement for military personnel within the compound of the Supreme Court, and technical laboratory tests of concrete and steel reinforcement bars were conducted.
9. During the second quarter, the Directorate evaluated the layout plan and cost estimate for a new warehouse location for the Kabul Provincial Appellate Court and conducted on-site inspections. A delegation, including the Administrative Deputy of the Supreme Court, closely monitored the reconstruction process of the said site.
10. During the second quarter, the Directorate continuously monitored the construction project of a workshop for the Transport Directorate of the Primary Courts in an organized and systematic manner.
