Brief Report of the General Directorate of Judicial Inspection of the Supreme Court for the Second Quarter of 1447 AH

During the second quarter of 1447 AH, the General Directorate of Judicial Inspection of the Supreme Court carried out the following key activities:
1.    The performance of courts in the provinces of Laghman, Jowzjan, Sar-e Pol, Kunduz, Nimroz, Takhar, Balkh, Nangarhar, and Daikundi was reviewed by judicial inspectors, and reports were sent to the Supreme Court High Authority for further guidance.
2.    Continuous supervision of the resolutions, regulations, laws, and procedures of the Supreme Court High Council, one of the core functions of the inspection Directorate, was carried out by inspectors during this quarter.
3.    Quarterly and annual reports collected from provincial courts were examined during regular inspections; discrepancies and their causes were identified, and necessary instructions were provided to the responsible officials.
4.    Reports were prepared on judicial and administrative officials with significant violations during routine and urgent inspections, and submitted to the Supreme Court High Authority for further directives.
5.    During ordinary inspections of courts, judicial, administrative, and service officials were given instructions to strengthen public confidence in the Islamic Emirate and the courts, and were directed to address complaints promptly and in accordance with established procedures.
6.    A total of 181 urgent petitions were registered, of which 140 were examined, and 41 remain under review.
7.    During the review of routine operations in courts and prisons, inspectors visited prisons in Kunduz, Takhar, Ghazni, Jowzjan, Sar-e Pol, and Nimroz; prisoner complaints were recorded, and issues were shared with the relevant courts and authorities for clarification and resolution.
